Parent Seminar: Online safety and use of Social Media

The first Parent Seminar of this academic year will be presented by Mr Jonathan Taylor, a Covert Internet Investigator and now a Social Media & Online Safety Consultant from the UK.

Jonathan worked as a Covert Internet Investigator, within the Metropolitan Police Child Abuse Investigation Command for 10 years in the UK. He became the lead internet investigator within the UK as regards online activity. Jonathan continues to work as a research Fellow, researching, and studying online dangers to children whilst using the Internet and Apps on devices. Jonathan also works as an Independent Child Safeguarding expert specialising in E-Safety. He will present on useful advice for keeping up to date with children and young adults use of the internet and social media.

The parent seminar will take place on Thursday 19 October 2017 at 6:00pm at BVIS.
