Thursday 4th October saw the return of the International School of Moscow’s annual Cross-Campus Swimming Gala for Years Five and Six. Students from Krylatskoe and Rosinka campuses battled it out in pursuit of victory. Throughout the gala, pupils demonstrated determination and true ISM spirit to compete with confidence and control, whilst still maintaining superb levels of sportsmanship throughout the event. As always, parental support was fantastic and really spurred our students on to try their very best.

While all competitors deserve applause, a few stand-out performers deserve extra credit for achieving such amazing feats. Firstly, Year Five Rosinka student, Mark competed in the 50m freestyle against Year Six students. Despite the age difference, Mark emerged victorious. Year Five Krylatskoe student, George, was extremely successful with a record haul of four gold medals. Finally, Year Six Krylatskoe student, Arohi  won three gold medals with an impressive run of form. The event came to a close with Mr Keach presenting gold medals and wishing everyone well. Congratulations to everyone who took part in this fantastic event. We are eagerly looking forward to our next swimming gala in March.
