The Terry Fox Run at ISM Rosinka The Terry Fox Run is an event that is held across the whole world every September. Read on to learn about this recent event on the Rosinka campus. Terry Fox Hero001

The Terry Fox Run is an event that is held across the whole world every September, but to ensure that we had better weather this year, we held the event on Friday 26th August. It was one of the hottest days of the year, but the students did extremely well and ran many laps.

This year the theme of the event was ‘Animals’. We had lions, tigers and bears, as well as snakes, bats and hedgehogs running around the school playground as fast as they could. Interestingly enough, it was a snail and a tortoise that ran the most laps!

This year, many parents also joined the event and had a wonderful time running with their children around the Rosinka Campus. Even though it was a very warm day, some students and parents still managed to run over 8 laps!

The event was a huge success with over 25,000 rubles being raised to support The Terry Fox Charity Fund and a local charity here in Moscow that supports children with disabilities who wish to take part in different sports.  A huge thank you to all the children, staff and parents who took part in this very important event.

This is the sixth time it has been held at ISM Rosinka and we can’t wait for next year, although we have the very popular Colour Run in May 2023.

Happy Running!
