Rosinka Music Recital An evening of relaxing music at ISM Rosinka

An evening of relaxing music at ISM Rosinka

The pupils at Rosinka gave wonderful performances at our Autumn Recital concert. We were treated to music from pop to classical to entertain us. A short film prepared by the Music Department welcomed the students on stage and set the scene for a memorable recital concert. Pieces were played confidently and with an obvious love for their instruments. A Polonaise was played on the violin by Year Four student, Fabian Deuschle. Year One student Camden Charlton sang ‘Make Someone Happy’. Matei Dorobantu played his guitarist blindfolded. He says that wearing a blindfold makes him play the guitar better! This was truly a display of courage and willingness to strive for perfection.  Year Five student, Olga Carlborg sung a beautiful rendition of ‘Shine Your Way’.

Year Five guitarist, Mark Golbraykh, who is working for his ABRSM Grade 3 examination played the piece ‘Two Branles’. Year Two pianist, Viktoria Tomalak gave a confident performance of ‘Hornpipe’ and ‘Jingle Bells’. The evening ended with the popular song ‘Heal the World’ sung by Year 4 student, Alisa Gerasimova.

This left a strong and lasting message to the world on how important it is to remember that we all are one big family, despite race or religion. The parents appreciated seeing their children play and the IMPs teachers did an extremely good job of preparing their students for the concert. It is recitals like these that help children and everyone involved with them to feel in tune with music and spend time in harmony and joy.
