Our students’ academic and personal achievements are a source of great pride for us. Today, we celebrate the incredible accomplishment of Shunichiro in Year 12, who has been awarded a medal for achieving the highest score in Russia for the IGCSE Mathematics (Higher Tier) examination.
From the day Shunichiro joined The International School of Moscow four years ago, it was clear that he had a talent for mathematics. Last year, as a Year 11 student, he received the Best in Year and Best in School awards for the prestigious United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) senior competition.
This time, Shunichiro has surpassed his own achievements by being awarded a medal for the highest score across the whole of the Russian Federation in the IGCSE Mathematics (Higher Tier) examination.
Shunichiro has not only become a prodigious mathematician, but also a prolific participant in many of the mathematics competitions and enrichment activities on offer at ISM, as well as being an extremely accomplished pianist.
Congratulations, Shunichiro. We wish you continued success and look forward to you receiving many more awards in the future.
