Dear Parents,
What a wonderful week it has been in school. We are so proud of the many moments of leadership, kindness, and community spirit that have shone through. Here are some highlights and an exciting look ahead.
Celebrating Our New House Captains
We are delighted to appoint our new House Captains, for the first part of this academic year: Yu Ching, Lucas, Evania, Ethan, Veer, Kara, and Mason. These students will play an important role in guiding their Houses, encouraging teamwork, and promoting our school values. Congratulations to each of them on stepping into this special leadership role.

Box of Hope – Thank You for Your Generosity
A heartfelt thank you to everyone for supporting our Box of Hope initiative. Together, we collected an incredible number of boxes, creating a beautiful example of children helping children. Your generosity will bring joy and comfort to many children in need, and we are so proud of the care and compassion shown by our community.
World Children’s Day – Thursday, 20th November
This Thursday, we will join millions around the world in celebrating World Children’s Day. This day reminds us that every child, everywhere, has rights—the right to be protected, to learn, and to have their voice heard. The theme for this year is HOPE – Hope for a Happy Childhood for Every Child.
We will mark this special day by inviting our entire school community—children, staff, and parents—to wear blue as a powerful symbol of our commitment to children’s rights.
As part of our World Children’s Day celebrations, the children will take part in a series of meaningful activities that focus on their rights. The central activity will be an exciting House STEAM Challenge, where children work together in their Houses to design and create a model of a Happy and Safe Home. This challenge connects directly to the rights we are exploring—My Right to a Home, My Right to Rest and Play, My Right to Be Heard, all culminating in My Right to a Happy and Safe Childhood.
Through this creative process, children will reflect on what we truly need to feel safe and cared for, and our newly appointed House Captains will lead these discussions, helping their Houses distinguish between wants and needs and encouraging collaboration. At the end of the day, each House will present their ideas, and we will celebrate their creativity, teamwork, and voices.
Alongside this, we will also transform our Blue Heart into a bright, golden Sun, a powerful symbol of the hope we share for every child’s present and future.
Our Social Impact Journey – Gold Award
World Children’s Day also marks the beginning of our journey toward achieving the Gold Award in Social Impact through Nord Anglia’s Social Impact Programme, modeled on UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting Schools award. This initiative will help us embed the UNCRC and SDGs into all aspects of school life, ensuring that the rights of children remain at the heart of everything we do.
Join Us! If you are dropping off your child on Thursday morning, please wear blue and add your yellow handprint to our Sun mural. Together, we will make a powerful statement about our shared commitment to a bright future for every child.
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a place where every child feels safe, valued, and heard.
Looking Ahead
