Celebrating Music and Talent at Our School
We believe music plays a vital role in a child’s development, nurturing creativity, building confidence, and enhancing focus and discipline. Research has shown that regular musical practice not only strengthens cognitive and motor skills but also provides a joyful outlet for self-expression.
To celebrate and encourage our young performers, we are proud to host the Sky Pitch Spotlight, led by Mr. Wong, a monthly showcase of student talent open to all children across the school. Whether your child sings, plays an instrument, or performs spoken words, this is a wonderful opportunity for them to shine in front of a supportive audience of peers and teachers.
Sky Pitch Spotlight is held on our rooftop pitch, transforming it into a vibrant stage where students can share their passion and hard work. These performances help build confidence, foster a sense of community, and inspire others to explore their own musical interests.
We encourage all families to support their children’s musical journey at home and school, and importantly, encourage them to take any opportunities to perform in front of an audience. If your child would like to take part in the next Sky Pitch Spotlight, please speak with Mr. Wong or contact our music department.
