Dear Parents,

As part of the Nord Anglia Schools family, we are fortunate to have incredible opportunities to collaborate with our sister schools across the globe, and our children have been embracing these connections with enthusiasm.

Connecting Across Schools: Live Call with Guangzhou

Early Years Campus Weekly Update - Early Years Campus Weekly Update

Last week, our Reception children had a wonderful 15-minute live call with students and teachers from our sister school in Guangzhou. The highlight of the session was a guessing game, where our children showcased their Chinese language skills by giving creative clues to help their friends in Guangzhou guess the correct answers. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they articulated their thoughts aloud and engaged in playful learning.

To end the call on a joyful note, our class sang a beautiful Chinese song, which was met with smiles and applause from both sides. These cross-school interactions are a great way to give our students meaningful opportunities to strengthen their language skills and global friendships. A big thank you to Lu Laoshi for organising these meaningful connections with our schools in Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou—we look forward to more collaborative activities soon!

Sea Scouts Adventure Returns!

This Thursday (29th May), our Reception and Year 1 students will be heading to Clear Water Bay for another fun-filled Sea Scouts session. The children will learn about sea safety, engage in team-building games, and develop essential scouting skills like knot-tying. These outdoor adventures encourage resilience, cooperation, and a love for nature. We can’t wait to see the children explore, learn, and have a fantastic time—photos will be shared in next week’s update!

Get Ready for International Day!

This Friday, 30th May, we are thrilled to celebrate International Day at NAIS Sai Kung—a vibrant showcase of our diverse community and cultures from around the world. It’s always a highlight of the year, filled with colour, music, and joy, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

The festivities will kick off at 8:45am with our International Parade—a spectacular procession where our students proudly represent different countries. Whether waving flags, wearing traditional dress, or sharing cultural elements, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate our global connections. The parade will finish by 9:10am, so be sure to arrive early to secure a great spot.

A huge thank you to Ms. Lewsey and our amazing parent volunteers for their hard work in bringing this day to life. Your support helps make International Day an unforgettable experience for our children.
