Dear Parents,
I hope that everyone has enjoyed a relaxing weekend following last week’s typhoon across Hong Kong.
Firstly, I would like to thank our excellent facilities teams across the campuses who were able to fully prepare each campus ahead of the typhoon which ensured that we experienced minimum disruption and were able to open last week.
At our school, we believe that exceptional teaching stems from a commitment to continuous professional growth. This term, our teachers have been actively engaged in a range of professional learning opportunities designed to enhance their practice and enrich student learning.
From curriculum development workshops to training in inclusive education strategies, our staff have been collaborating across year groups and departments to share best practices and explore innovative approaches. A key focus has been on refining pedagogical strategies to better support student progress and wellbeing. Teachers have also participated in sessions on digital learning tools, ensuring our classrooms remain dynamic and responsive to the needs of 21st-century learners.
Importantly, professional learning is not limited to formal sessions such as tomorrow (see below for dates). Our teachers and middle leaders engage in peer observations, drop-ins, conversations, and reflective practice. These experiences foster a culture of trust, curiosity, and shared responsibility for student success.
We are proud of the dedication our school community shows in continually striving to improve their teaching practice. Their learning directly impacts the quality of education your children receive, and we are grateful for your ongoing support in making this possible.
