To celebrate the day, our primary students showcased the rich diversity of Indonesia. The students demonstrated their resilience and teamwork by performing various aspects of Indonesian culture on stage. They sang, danced, and played traditional instruments, captivating the audience with their talent.
Students, staff and parents wore batik to school and proudly took photos against a beautiful batik backdrop as part of our cultural celebrations.
On Friday, October 4, students from the F2, Y1, and Y2 classes participated in batik workshops. They learned about the names and functions of traditional batik tools, immersing themselves in the art form as they created their own unique masterpieces.
This celebration aligns with NAS Jakarta’s values of Respect and Global Citizenship, emphasising the importance of learning about the culture and language of our host country as an integral part of our curriculum.
