NAS Jakarta is currently 86% expatriate. Our largest national group, Indonesia, has grown steadily over the past 4 years and so it was appropriate for Indonesia to lead the Parade of Nations on Friday, proudly waving their flag ahead of the other 29 countries that make up our student body, plus several countries represented by members of our staff.

Learning about countries and aspects of their cultures represented in our community was carried out through many different activities during the week.

International Week 2025 - International Week

Friday was UN Day so it was fitting to celebrate international respect, collaboration and curiosity through an International Food Fair. The UK’s Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia, Mr Matt Downing, officially opened the event supported by two of our longest standing students, Amelie van Hee who joined NAS in early 2018 and Kabir Aggarwal who enrolled later in the same year. Also helping to cut the official ribbon and representing our host nation was Sofia Asmara who has studied at NAS for 4 years already.

This celebration provided our students with meaningful opportunities to deepen their understanding of different cultures, foster respect among nationalities, and embrace the spirit of global citizenship that we value at NAS Jakarta.
