Parent Teacher Group: 21 November 2016

21 November 2016

Dear Parents,

Please remember that Lost and Found items can be found in the PTG Room.  Everything is sorted in categories and is very easy to look through.  Please come and reclaim your lost items.  Please also remember to put names on everything that comes into school.

On Tuesday 29 November at 2.45-3.45, photographer and author of “The Lost Executioner”, Nic Dunlop will be coming to STA to give a talk about his photographic work. STA would like to invite all interested parents, but particularly parents of Year 9 students, who may be interested in studying photography at GCSE, to come to this presentation.  Further details can be found in the High School section of the Newsletter.  His talk will give you a useful insight into the professional life of a photographer. The talk is scheduled to take place just before the Year 9 parents evening, for your convenience. Nic will also be running a workshop for year 9 students during the afternoon.  Please come along if this subject might be of interest to your child, even if they are not yet in Year 9 and facing the daunting task of choosing their subjects for IGCSE.

Planning for Community Day on 4 February 2017 is already under way.  If you are in a position to help us by donating raffle prizes please drop us an e-mail.  Your help and generosity is greatly appreciated.

As always, please get in touch if we can help in any way.

Thank you.
