Raising Funds for the Mercy Centre

17 January 2017

On 4th February 2017 our very own Angelo Karagiannis will attempt a 50k charity run in an effort to raise money for the children at the Klong Toey Mercy Centre, a St. Andrew’s International School Bangkok charity partner.

  • Angelo Running

An experienced runner, Angelo will face his most difficult challenge when he tackles the North Face 100® 50k trail course set in the picturesque district of Amphoe Pakchong adjacent to Khao Yai National Park and located approximately 200 km northeast of Bangkok. The adventurous and hilly trail leads runners through natural surroundings mixing adventure with local culture.

All raised funds will be donated to Mercy Centre, an organisation committed to helping Bangkok slum community children by creating simple-but-progressive solutions that touch the lives of thousands of poor every day. Mercy Centre build and operate schools, improve family health and welfare, protect street children’s rights, combat the AIDS crisis, respond to daily emergencies, and offer shelter to orphans, street children, and children and adults with AIDS.

We encourage anyone interested in supporting this fundraising effort by donating at JustGiving.
