THANK YOU to everyone who came to Community Day on Saturday. It really was a fantastic day and I hope everyone had a great time.
There are so many people I need to thank – our wonderful school staff in the Office and Estates. Community Day would not have been possible without them. Mr. Paul and all the teaching staff who monitor the rides – your willingness to help is invaluable. Every single parent who helped us in some way or another either by donating raffle prizes, helping on the day or simply by coming to Community Day and buying raffle tickets – everything is vital in making the day a success and helping us to raise funds to continue to support our students and the St. Andrews community. My heartfelt thanks go to all the members of the PTG Committee as well. Community Day is a massive team effort.
At the last PTG meeting, queries were raised as to why Bei Otto no longer stocks Dairy Home milk. We have been in touch with Epicure who explained that Diary Home raised their prices on the small bottles of milk overnight and with no warning. No other milk suppliers have raised their prices so Epicure have been trying to negotiate with Dairy Home but unfortunately to no avail. Dairy Home milk will soon be back in Bei Otto but with a price increase reflecting the increase from the supplier.
Finally, on Friday this week (10 February 2017), St. Andrews will be welcoming their first Juilliard Artist – pianist Kimball Gallagher. He will be working with many of our students throughout the day and at 1.30 p.m. there will be a concert in the Sports Hall featuring Kimball Gallagher alongside our own St. Andrews pianists. Parents are invited to attend this concert and enjoy a performance by a world-class pianist. Please do come along and take advantage of this opportunity to experience the work of a world-class pianist.
