Year 7 and 8 Concert + Year 6 Concert

On Tuesday 28th March Year 7 and 8 will perform a variety of music based around their class project work. The following week, Monday March 3rd, it is Year 6’s turn to present their classwork. The concerts will take place in the Drama Studio at 4pm. Everyone is welcome to join us at this exciting event!

St. Andrews Sings Concert

This Wednesday morning, there will be a special concert in the canteen to share the work of our 3 school choirs this term. The Mezzo Singers, Guys and Girls choirs from High School will perform for you. Listen out for some hip hop, and Guns n’ Roses!

Mini Singers and Recorders Concert

On Wednesday last week, the Mini Singers and Recorder Club performed some music to reflect what they have been working on all term.

The recorders went first and showed off a range of pieces in different groups based upon how long they had been playing for. They finished with a lovely Waltz in three parts and made a wonderful sound!

The Mini Singers have been learning story songs all term. They performed The Mouse and the Lion with solos from Evan, Faye and Jessica. Then the year ones and twos took on different roles in the song ‘A Windmill in Old Amsterdam’. This finished with lots of squeaking mice; the Mini Singers’ favourite part!

We look forward to new music next term!

BBC Symphony Orchestra LIVE in Bangkok!

This Wednesday we are very excited to be taking some of our ECA students to Mahidol University for a wonderful orchestral concert! This will be a unique opportunity to hear one of the world’s top orchestras, who are travelling all the way from London to perform in Bangkok. The BBC Symphony orchestra will perform Shostakovich, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Elgar as well as the Kinari Suite by H.M The King Bhumibol Adulyadej. We are very excited that this opportunity has come to Bangkok and our students are able to experience it.
