Key Stage 2: Ready, steady, bake!

Year 4 kick off the KS2 Music Concerts… Busking Week showcased some amazing KS2 talent... And your entries for the Book Week Bake-Off need to be submitted by Wednesday 14 March.

Busking Week in KS2

Well done to everyone who took part in last week’s charity busking week events. It was lovely to see such a range of talented musicians and performers  giving up their time to raise money to help others. This is a perfect example of many of the principles of our What Makes a Great St Andrews Primary Community philosophy in action.

Year 4K, 4E and 4S Music Concert

Half of Year 4 started off our annuals music concerts for KS2. With the move away from learning an individual instrument in Year 4, this concert showcased the new curriculum which emphasises the students ability to explore music across a range of instruments, which included some student compositions. There were also some solo performances showcasing the musical opportunities that students also have outside of school. Well done to everyone in these three classes. Make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to catch the rest of Year 4 for their performance on Wednesday afternoon at 4.00 p.m. in the Drama Studio.

We can then use this information to help us to plan our developments over the next two years. The time you take to complete the survey is very much appreciated and will help us move forward together and focus on the issues that our community considers are high priorities for us to develop further to meet your expectations.
