There will be a PTG meeting for all parents on Wednesday, 14 March 2018 at 08.00 am in the Exam Room (top floor of the R building) at the Primary School. The agenda is being finalised and will be sent to you by email. Issues that the Committee have been following up on and which are of great interest to parents are of course appropriate action to protect our children during periods of very poor air quality, including the on-going problem of cars that idle in the car park; access to the new coffee shop at the High School as well as the quality of the snacks available in the coffee shop compared to those available in the snack shop; and general issues with the canteen in both the Primary School and High School. Our guest speaker will be Mr Bevin, the Careers and University Counsellor at High School. He will be talking about the “Week of Work” programme that he is launching and how parents can help. This is a great opportunity to find out more about this exciting opportunity for our older students and parents with Primary School children will be able to put a face to a name of someone who will play an important role as their children progress through High School.
Looking forward, we will soon be starting to organize the end of year Summer Party. If anyone can suggest a venue (centrally located, indoors because it’s the rainy season and will good parking and access to taxis and/or the BTS, please get in touch with us. Better still, if you have an establishment that you could let us use at a good rate we would be very grateful.
