PTG: Coffee Morning - Careers and Higher Education

As announced, the final coffee morning in our November series takes place on Tuesday 26 November: Ms Beverley will be talking about Careers and Higher Education. Things are really hotting up in Santa’s workshop now, with the elves preparing to help Santa in the next two weeks at Primary School. Don’t forget the Christmas Fairs at Primary (Weds 11 Dec) and High School (Thurs 12 Dec) – great places to get some Christmas gifts! And we’ve got some dates for your diary in 2020.

Careers and Higher Education

PTG Coffee Mornings

What do you want to be when you grow up? Some children know the answer to this question from a young age already - but many don’t. Whether you’re sure of what you want to do, or still deciding, STA’s Careers and Higher Education Counsellor, Ms Beverley, is there to help guide you through this process. She will be speaking at the PTG Coffee Morning on 26 November 2019, 8-9:30 a.m., in the Jo Adamson Theatre at High School. The event is open to all parents interested in knowing more about career and higher education options and the university applications process.

While that brings to a close our November Coffee Mornings series, we are busy planning more Coffee Mornings for January and February 2020. Dates and details will be posted as and when they become available. Do get in touch if there is a certain topic you would be interested to hear discussed.

Santa and his elves

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Santa’s on his way – with his elves in tow, of course. With more than 900 children at Primary Campus, he really needs those helpers in the pointy green hats! He’ll be visiting the various Year Groups at different times during the two weeks starting on Monday 2 December.

Looking for Christmas gifts? Don’t forget to check out the vendors at STA’s Christmas Fairs at Primary (Weds 11 Dec) and High School (Thurs 12 Dec). While these fairs are not as big as Fun Day, we will still be having vendors of food and gift items, so please come along and check them out! And if any parents are also vendors and would be interested in a place at one or both of the Christmas Fairs, please get in touch at ptgevents@standrews.ac.th.

Dates for your diary

The next PTG meeting open to all parents is scheduled for Wed 15 January 2020, 8:15 am, Jo Adamson Theatre, High School. If there are specific topics you would like to see discussed, please email us at ptgchair@standrews.ac.th.

The next Friday Night Drinks session will be held on 7 February 2020.

Reminder to post on PTG FB

And finally, just a reminder that you are welcome to post on the PTG’s FB group. Anything from useful articles, buy/sell/swap items, upcoming events, apartments for rent. We have a great community to tap into!
