Our Flames athletes continue to impress in a wide range of different sports. Keep up-to-date with all our achievements through the St Andrews Facebook page, our STA Flames and Marlins Facebook group and the St Andrews Instagram page.

Celebrating the sporting passion of our Flames athletes...

At the weekend, six of our ballers independently entered the Bangkok Urban Youth 3x3 tournament organised by the International Federation of Muay Thai. Wearing the blue and yellow of STA, both teams won their division. Well done Imani, Nina, I-Rak, Jump, Mont and Mos!

BISP 3on3 Festival

On Thursday, 40 ballers depart for Phuket to take part in the annual BISP 3on3 Festival.  There will be a large number of teams from across the region and we wish them well. Last year we had three 3 division champions, one Plate champion, and three division runners-up. Let’s hope we can do better this year!

On Monday next week, 32 of our U13s head to Phuket for their annual Games. With Athletics, Swimming, Football and Basketball to look forward to, it will be  a busy few days. Our young athletes have been training hard to make themselves the best that they can be and we know they’ll represent themselves really well at the Games.

On Monday our team left for Hua Hin to participate in  the FOBISIA Golf tournament. We’ll share news as the event gets underway.

Our U15 Girls are in the middle of their BISAC season and it was great to host our first ever U15 game last week. The interest in this great sport is growing steadily and we hope to introduce more teams next year. In the meantime, in Term 3, we’ll open our Tuesday Flames session to anyone who has trained this year, whilst there’ll be a Wednesday ECA open to all.

Our Flames Track team recently attended the SHB friendly meet and had a good afternoon on track, especially in the boys’ 800m and girls’ 100m. This was great experience for events coming up soon (U13 FOBISIA Games and BISAC Track and Field).

It’s been a busy week for STA Tennis with our U15 BISAC matches and World Tennis Day event over the weekend.

Our U15 teams got their BISAC season underway with some hard fought matches against other BISAC schools. We are looking forward to the fixtures below in the coming weeks.

A massive well done to all the players who represented their country in the World Tennis Day events over the weekend; it was great to see some many players having fun. A big thank you to Coach Pair and her team for organising the event.

In addition to this, we travel to Delhi from 17-21 March for the annual FOBISIA Tennis and to Phuket from 30 March - 1 April. Good luck to all players taking part.

We are also making arrangements for our Term 3 Tennis sessions; please check your email to confirm your intentions for next term and allow us to finalise our schedule.
