Be a part of the PTG Committee

A quick reminder to get in touch with us if you wish to join the Parent Teacher Group (PTG).

Our call is rather urgent this year: at least 6 of our Committee Members are leaving, so we really need you.

Joining the PTG Committee can give you the opportunity to put your skills to good use, try something new, gain experience, build confidence and meet new people.

There are many different ways to help out; event planning (International Day, Christmas Fair, Summer Party etc.), organising Parent Sport Activities to build a stronger community, help welcoming new parents and represent the views of parents on various matters etc.

These are just a few examples of what we do. Plenty goes on behind the scenes to help make the St Andrews experience a great one and new ideas and creativity are always welcome.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, please send in a brief bio and picture of yourself before Friday 10  May 2019 to ptgchair@standrews.ac.th.

While the PTG’s work is all done on a voluntary basis, we do ask for motivation and commitment. This includes attending and contributing to monthly Committee and termly PTG meetings, and it includes taking on various tasks within the team. Ideally, we would love for the PTG to represent the diversity of the school, with candidates of different cultures and backgrounds. We are also looking for a balanced mix of Primary School and High School parents.

The election of the PTG Committee will take place at our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 30 May 2019 in the Primary School Drama Studio at 08.15 a.m. and all parents are cordially invited.

The list of nominees and voting guidelines will be sent out to all parents 2 weeks prior to the AGM.

We really hope you will be a part of our team. Come and join the fun.

Keep in touch

Don’t forget the PTG’s Facebook group where you can find out lots of useful information about St Andrews International School Bangkok as well as getting used to living in Bangkok if you are new to the city. If you would like to contact us about something specific, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email on ptgchair@standrews.ac.th. You can also check us out on Moodle.
