Perhaps a little-known activity of the PTG is the collection and resale of second-hand uniforms. The PTG’s Sarah Krieg works tirelessly at collecting used uniforms and ensuring they are as good as new before selling them at a very reasonable price. All money raised goes to charities that purchase uniforms for disadvantaged children, enabling them to go to school.
It’s also a way of promoting sustainability in our community. And if you’re buying a uniform, you can get some great bargains!
That is why we would like to ask you to consider donating uniforms that you no longer need. For example, if your child has grown out of their uniform, if you’re switching to a different uniform in the new school year, or if you’re leaving St Andrews International School Bangkok.
We have Uniform Drop-off boxes at both School Offices, Primary School and High School. All uniform donations are gratefully received.
The next second-hand uniform sale is on the first day of school, 19 August 2019. It will be held at Primary School. A second-hand uniform sale date for High School is to be announced.
If you have any questions, please email Sarah Krieg at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for supporting this cause.
Finally, the whole PTG Committee wishes you a wonderful summer holiday, and we look forward to seeing you in the new school year.
