Minutes of PTG Meeting
We’d like to thank you for turning out in such numbers for the PTG Meeting on 11 September – we haven’t seen this kind of turnout for many years (or ever). About 100 people attended. The agenda was a people’s agenda – it was comprised of topics that you wrote to us about, and the Head of School Mr Paul, Head of High School Mr Roo, Head of KS 2 Mr Geoff, and Director of Whole School Operations Mr Roy were on hand to give answers. The minutes will be available here shortly and in the PTG section of Moodle.
School is really stepping up its activities on Sustainability. At the PTG Meeting Ms Hannah briefly introduced the HS Sustainability Team and plans to work towards becoming an Eco-School. She spoke of the importance of supporting your child at school and at home to live more sustainably. Parent representatives are needed on the new Eco-Committee at High School – please write to us here if you’re interested in doing this! firstname.lastname@example.org.
Right after the PTG Meeting was the first coordination meeting for the food hall on International Day. Planning is now well underway! A huge thank you to all the country reps for coming forward and to all the parents participating. We are very grateful to the PTG’s Anja and Sarah for taking on the mammoth task of coordinating not only one Food Hall, but TWO, at Primary and at High School.
