A wonderful week in Chinese

Children in Early Years talked about animals this week. In addition to stories, children had great fun singing and dancing with music“(dòng)()()(cāo)”-Animal gymnastics.

Year1 Lama Temple children has now completed their pinyin study and started to practice and apply their pinyin knowledge through collaborative text reading activities.

Year 3 Great Wall and Tian’an Men group children are learning a topic of transportation. Children enjoyed role-playing and acting out the dialogues that they created in the lesson.

Year 4 Lama Temple children learnt a short poem ‘Colorful dreams’. Children used their Imaginative Thinking skills to create their own poem and shared it to the others in the class.

Children in Year 6 Tian’an Men group used their fluent Thinking skills, coming up with lots of great ideas to help them write their own story and performing it to the others.
