The art project, which will bring together students in Nursery to Year 6 in illustrating the pages of a school storybook, is part of the school's involvement with The Big Draw 2015.
The Big Draw is an arts education charity based in the United Kingdom, which launed the annual international Big Draw festival in 2000. The festival promotes the belief that drawing changes lives for the better, and its mission is to give all young people an opportunity for self-expression through drawing.
In 2014, more than 414,000 participates took part in over 1800 Big Draw festival events in 26 countries. This year, BISB's artistic endeavor is on that list.
Lower School students will spend part of their day on Friday working to create beautiful illustrations for a new school storybook. The book, which walks readers through Bruno the Bulldog's first day of school, will be created by the school later this year.
