BISB’s Got Talent 2018

Year 12 organised a truly spectacular event last Friday. Parents, students and guests crowded into the school gymnasium to watch the final of this year’s BISB’s Got Talent. Special guest judge Zoltan Szucs from Attraction caused quite a stir and posed for photographs and gave autographs. The event raised over 400,000 HUF for the Tanzania Expedition.

Our charming hosts for the evening were Andras Fasimon and Kavya Francis. The standard of the 12 acts was exceptionally high. There was dancing, memory tricks, singing, gymnastics and piano playing in a huge variety of styles. The eventual winner in the Primary Section was Vicky Ga Hyeon Kim, from Year 6 Copper, giving an unforgettable rendition of Mozart’s The Turkish March on the piano. Tommy Rui Hong Tang from Year 11, was triumphant in the Secondary section with a piano solo of Beethoven’s sonata Op. 31. No. 2, first movement (The Tempest). Congratulations to all the artists.

Heart-felt thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the talent show process including the PTA, Gabor and the maintenance team, Mr La Cava for catering, Miki and the tech team, kitchen and cleaning staff.
