Visit to Etyek Animal Shelter

19 April 2018

Last Thursday, Miss Katona from 1 Apple and Mr Mormoe went to visit the Etyeki Allatvedo Egyesulet. This is the animal shelter we have chosen to sponsor in Year 1.

During our Christmas fair our Year 1 children brought in their own toys they no longer use and we sold them at our stall. With the money we raised at the fair and with support from our PTA we managed to buy 330 kilograms of dry dog food and a bag full of dog toys. Miss Katona delivered the food and the toys to the delighted volunteers and happy dogs at the shelter. Thank you to the PTA for your support and to the wonderfully generous Year 1 children. Remember you are never too young to make a difference!
