Year 2 have been looking at stories by award-winning author, Julia Donaldson. On Friday 27th April they performed three of these to parents: ‘Room on the Broom’ (Year 2 Blueberry) ‘The Snail and the Whale’ (Year 2 Lagoon) and ‘Stickman’ (Year 2 Ocean).

The children did a brilliant job learning lines, meeting their cues and getting involved in every aspect of their performances. Many thanks go to Mrs Noemi Stubenvoll and Mr Viktor Holeczy for their support and hard work with music and lyrics.
This assembly provided a valuable opportunity for the children to develop presentation skills and it was a real pleasure to see the growth in confidence in our younger students.
