Ask the Artist - musicians Colin and Eric Jacobsen
Brothers Colin and Eric Jacobsen are award-winning musicians who have a reputation for dynamic and engaging performances. Colin is a composer and plays the violin, whilst Eric is a conductor and plays the cello. They have built strong careers playing together and separately. Students can see their biographies, photographs and view examples of their solo and joint work on Global Campus Online here: https://globalcampus.nae.school/mod/page/view.php?id=11230
Read the information about Colin and Eric Jacobsen and watch the videos of them performing. Post questions on the wall that you would like Colin and Eric to answer through the link at the bottom of the page. You can ask Colin and Eric anything you’re curious about, such as how they work together as brothers, do they prefer playing an instrument or composing/conducting, why they created the groups they play in or any other questions that come to mind! The question deadline is Monday 9th December 2019 and we’ll be posting the video answers to the questions w/c 20th January 2020.
You will receive a Global Campus Ask the Artist badge if you ask a question on the wall and any student who asks questions to all three artists over this school year will get the fourth badge at the end of the year!
Students can find Colin and Eric’s “Ask the Artist” page here: https://globalcampus.nae.school/mod/page/view.php?id=11230 (you’ll need to be logged in to Global Campus to see) or via the Performing Arts with Juilliard section on Global Campus Online.
