We had our coin race on Friday 8th February. Everyone worked together to lay the coins out onto the school running track.

We could all feel the excitement in the cold morning breeze. Every metre meant 5 house points, which was added to the house points for the week. Even if your team did not win thank you so much for joining in because now it is not about winning; it’s about helping Budapest Bike Maffia and having fun.

Blue Team - 22 metres - 22 x 5 = 110 points

Green Team - 34 metres  - 34 x 5 = 170 points

Yellow Team - 51 metres - 51 x 5 = 255 points

Red Team - 12 metres - 12 x 5 = 60 points

The initial estimate of money raised, using mass as a way to work out the total collected, was 123 000 Forints. A representative from Budapest Bike Maffia came to school this week to receive the 30kg of coins collected. Let’s hope they have strong arms! Well done everybody!
