Girls' Football

Our Girls U19 footballers took part in an in-house fixture on Tuesday 13th October. The teams were run brilliantly and kept in order by their player-coaches, Sharon and Dorci (Shaza United and FC Dorci).

The game aimed to check how the girls would work together with the responsibility of choosing a team and creating their own tactics and formations. The players didn’t disappoint and encompassed many areas of our mission statement from ambition to responsibility. They played in the spirit of the match and supported each other resolutely. The game finished Shaza United 0-1 FC Dorci.

I am so proud of the girls. Chris Walker, Head Coach of the Girls’ U14 and U19 Football Teams

Moving forward we are going to look at arranging a second game, next Tuesday 3rd November at 7.30 am on Sportsfield 2.
