Year 7 Chinese Students Exploring Chinese Theatre

In Drama Year 7 have been continuing to explore Chinese Theatre (Peking Opera). The students have been looking at the 4 main characters and how colour is symbolic with these characters. They are now creating their own mask or makeup designs based on the character they have chosen and the Tai Chi moves they created in Music (see last week’s newsletter). They are now going to be creating a video with them wearing their mask or makeup and showing their Tai Chi moves.
