Preparing to Move

Preparing to move will be as much a mental journey as it will be a practical one.

The preparation is perhaps the most difficult and time-consuming part of your move abroad. But rest assured, Budapest is a very modern city, so if you forget anything you can almost always find it here.

We are here to help and will do our best to involve you and your family in our community as soon as you arrive in Budapest. Our Admissions Officer can put you in touch with one of our parent volunteer Country Representatives who can provide you with a first-hand family perspective and ensure that you and your child feel part of our school upon arrival.

In terms of required documentation, it is always best to speak to the Hungarian Embassy or Consulate in your home country.

We hope that your move to Budapest will be a smooth one. The most important thing to remember is: if you do run into a problem, please don’t feel you have to fix it on your own. There are plenty of people to turn to who would love to help.
