Our academically challenging program addresses different learning styles and multiple intelligences while fostering critical thinking and developing problem solving skills. Our students acquire cognitive skills while learning to take risks, work cooperatively and make sound choices.
The classroom environment supports the development of critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication and genuine inquiry. Students develop the confidence to approach new situations and challenges while viewing their classmates and teachers as co-thinkers and learners. Each child feels comfortable reflecting on their learning while being challenged to advance to new levels.
The core curriculum includes multi-genre reading, language arts, writing, math, social studies, science, foreign language and technology instruction. Students have many opportunities to work above grade level. Enrichment activities and projects are implemented through all content areas to extend learning.
