Every day, our faculty strives to guide our students toward becoming confident and informed critical thinkers and leaders ready to succeed in our rigorous academic program, in college, and in life. Middle school students participate in new activities, create and often change their peer group, develop study skills, challenge themselves academically, and look for opportunities to serve others.
The three years of middle school are designed to provide students with the opportunity to grow intellectually, experience the arts and athletics, develop the characteristics of an effective leader, and grow into responsible and civic-minded adults.
We challenge students to set individual goals and strive for personal excellence, while supporting them on their personal discovery journeys. In addition, children’s schedules are customized to allow them to shine and connect with like-minded friends and explore new interests. It is an incredibly unique and personal experience for each of our students.
Committed to creative, active teaching and learning, the North Broward classroom experience is rich with exploration, discovery, and global perspectives. Students collaborate not only with their local and national peers, but also with other students from around the world.
Collaboration, learning, and competition take place on our campus, through the use of extensive technology, extensive fine arts program, and on the athletic field. Furthermore, our Global Touchpoints program helps students develop empathy, understand the importance of community service, and become aware of how one’s actions impact others.
I know that you will see that North Broward is much more than a school but a community that fosters curiosity, develops lifelong learners, cultivates self-confidence and celebrates our differences. Please contact me with any questions you have about our middle school experience.
