We are looking forward to welcoming you to NBP for the 2019 - 2020 academic school year!

Below you will find a Next Steps Checklist we hope you will find helpful as you transition to NBP for the fall.

Shortly after enrolling to NBP, you will be contacted by a member of the Upper School Leadership Team to make an appointment for an individual course counseling session.

After your course counseling session, you will need to signup for IPad assignment which will contain the ebooks required for your courses.

Who needs to come?

  • Current NBPS rising 6th grader or rising 9th grader.
  • New student 6th through 12th grade.

Please note: If you have more than one child in either of the above categories, you may make ONE appointment to cover the whole group. We will meet in the 2nd-floor lobby of the Global Wellness Center. Please park in the Global Wellness Center lot. Please arrive a few minutes early.

Next Step: Attend Success Academy

We are looking forward to hosting our annual Success Academy orientation for all students new to the middle and high school including rising sixth and ninth graders from North Broward Prep (NBP). This mandatory orientation is a fun and informative experience for students that will take place on Friday, August 23rd from 8:25 a.m. to 3:35 p.m..

  • The Middle School Success Academy begins in the Lecture Hall located in the Lakeside building.
  • The High School Success Academy begins in the Global Wellness Center.

Students are expected to bring their electronic device (HS: Laptop & iPad; MS: iPad). Throughout the day they will be introduced to a variety of topics that are essential to their success at NBP. The program is designed to "break the ice" and introduce students to the school and to each other in fun and creative ways. Additionally, students will meet current middle and high school students, all of their teachers, and become familiar with the educational technology used to support their learning.

There will be an opportunity to meet with the Middle School and High School leadership teams on Friday, August 23rd. We look forward to meeting with you during this time.

  • Middle School Meeting: 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the Learning Commons
  • High School Meeting: 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the Lecture Hall
