Congratulations to Senior Carlee Goldberg, one of only two students selected to
represent Florida in the prestigious United States Senate Youth Program. The United
States Senate Youth Program, established in 1962 by U.S. Senate Resolution, is a
unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in
pursuing careers in public service. The 56th annual program will be held in
Washington, D.C., March of 2018 and includes once in a life-time experiences such as
meeting with a Supreme Court Justice, as well as hearing policy addresses by
senators, cabinet members, Departments of State and Defense officials and the
President of the United States. In addition, Carlee will also be awarded a $10,000
college scholarship to be used for her undergraduate studies. It is with immense
pride that we celebrate this esteemed accomplishment, and look forward to sharing
in her continued success.
