We are thrilled to announce that our students did a stellar job at the 10th Florida International Chinese Speech and Skit Contest including a 1st Place finish by first grader, Liliana Barberena.
This annual event is co-organized by Asian Studies Program and Department of Modern Languages at FIU, Confucius Institute at MDC, Chinese Language Teachers Association and the Chinese Club at FIU. Approximately 200 students from elementary, middle, high schools and college compete from 25 different schools in the tri-county area.
