Our NB 7th grade artist Carmin Kilpatrick has been selected as the third-place winner in Sandy Hook Promise’s Start With Hello Student Voices Contest in the Middle School Visual category. Over 1,300 students from across the country submitted Student Voices entries and Sandy Hook Promise staff and Promise Leaders chose Carmin’s as an award-winning submission. Sandy Hook Promise will be showcasing Carmin’s award-winning art work in press releases as well as at the 2019 Students Against Violence Everywhere Promise Club Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina. For more information about the Summit click here. We would also like to recognize NB students, Eva Doyle, Maya Ficklin, Gianna Dodge, and Anh Thu Nguyen, for their thoughtful and creative entries in the Student Voices contest.
