NB Musicians Accepted into the 38th Annual Frost Honor Band Festival

Congratulations to musicians Serena Bruno, Sarah Castillo, Austin DeClaire, Jin Yi Liu, Matthew Morejon, Austin Stein, Sophie Taubert, and Samantha Venable for being accepted to represent NBPS at this year’s Frost Honor Band Festival on February 1st, 2019. The festival brings approximately 260 talented high school instrumentalists from the State of Florida to the University of Miami Frost School of Music for two days of rehearsals, master classes by Frost School artist faculty, and a final concert. The conductors include Jerry Junkin, Director of Bands of the University of Texas at Austin, Christopher Blackmer, Director of Bands at Winter Park High School, and Jay Rees, Director of Athletic Bands at The University of Miami.
