NBP Eagles Golf is Flying High

24 October 2020

Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Varsity Golf Teams! For the first time in school history, both teams have clinched a spot in the 2020 FHSAA State Golf Tournament. The boys battled some of the top teams in South Florida and clinched the Regional Runner-Up title for the first time since 2004 and propelled themselves to the State Tournament for the second year in a row. It was an overall amazing effort by the entire team, shooting a team score of 302 which is the second-lowest in program history. The Girls proved that every shot counts as they grinded their way to a one stroke win over Jensen Beach HS to place 3rd at the Regional Tournament and clinch a spot in the State Tournament. With a 6th grader, two 8th graders, a 9th grader and one 12th grader, the Eagles are by far the youngest of the 16 teams competing at the championships. Congratulations once again to both teams and good luck at States!
