Michael became the Director of Athletics for NBPS in 2014. He has worked in education for the past 17 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator. He has experience working with student-athletes of all levels and has assisted in the planning of Nord Anglia Global Games since their inception in 2006.
Michael currently oversees 61 teams in 17 sports for our Eagles and continues to develop and improve programming for all student-athletes at NBPS. In the past ten years, over 75 student-athletes have gone on to play collegiate sports from the athletic programs that he has led.
Michael has worked in schools in Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Florida over his career and has helped guide programs that have won district, regional, state, and national championships. He has been instrumental in helping develop future plans to improve athletic facilities and continues to lead a charge that recognizes student-athlete achievement at all levels. In the past, he has coached 5 different sports, worked as a professional baseball instructor and camp director, and directed both national and international basketball clinics.
Michael is originally from Pennsylvania and attended East Stroudsburg University (PA), where he played Division II College Baseball and received his B.S. in secondary education – English. Michael and his wife Cory (who also works at NBPS) have a son Benjamin who is a Kindergarten student in our Lower School. When he is not watching the Eagles on the ice, field, court, track, or golf course - he can be found volunteer coaching his sons’ youth sports teams in the local community.
