High School Clubs

Explore over 40 High School clubs and activities to keep your child active and engaged.

Book Club is a forum for students to discuss books in an intelligent but lively and informal context. Members generate recommended lists of books not studied in the school curriculum and vote on the ones to be discussed at meeting.

Chinese Language and Culture Club allows students to explore Chinese culture outside of the classroom. During meetings, the group not only practices the Chinese language but discuss current events in China. Club members also sample Chinese cuisine during meetings.

Creative Writing Club provides a community for passionate young writers and poets looking to share their work in a safe environment. It is for enthusiastic people who want to learn more about literature, enter contests, submit their work for publication, maximize their potential, and work on a literary journal. It is ideal for budding writers because it provides a warm welcome and is stress-free.

Debate Team allows students the chance to sharpen their speech and debate skills, show off their talent, and compete against other students within the club, as well as other schools.

Engineering Club is for students who love to build, design and tinker incredible innovations. Members of this club have the opportunity to learn the process behind engineering and even make use of the NBPS digital fabrication lab, replete with a laser cutter and 3D printer. 

Expedition Club has goals to fundraise for the Nord Anglia projects completed in Tanzania and to improve and create new possible solutions for these communities. The club will provide many students with the opportunity to travel to Tanzania and experience the culture and service first hand.

French Club is for enjoyment of the French language and culture and to improve language skills as well.

French Honor Society (Societé Honoraire de Français) gives students who are passionate about French the opportunity to explore more deeply the culture, language and history as well as improve the community awareness of all things French.

The Gay Straight Alliance is dedicated to discussing issues related to the LGBT community, fighting homophobia in the classrooms, and making school a comfortable, safe place for all. Everything discussed within GSA is 100% confidential, and it strives to be an open place for every student.

Harry Potter Club is passionate about the magical world of Harry Potter. The club has Potter-inspired events and is a fun way for Harry Potter fans at NBPS to get involved on campus.

Multicultural Club celebrates the cultural diversity of our students and seeks ways in which to share these stories, histories and ideas. Promoting cultural awareness and understanding, this club hopes to better unite and integrate the school through educational and fun activities.

Journalism Club is for students interested in writing for the student online publication, Brainwash, Control your own thoughts.

Key Club is a chapter of a national service organization (Key Club International) of over a quarter of a million high school members involved in school and community service projects. Members work on group, year-long projects and individual short-term service opportunities established by the club. This is a good way for students to help the community and work with fellow students without having to create their own projects.

Math Team gives members the chance to sharpen their math skills, show off their talent, and compete against other students in our school, as well as other schools.

National Art Honor Society is a chapter of a nationally recognized organization that focuses on artistic scholarship as well as service and character development. Students work together in fellowship to promote art in the community.

National Honor Society is a nationally recognized group of students who exemplify service, character, leadership, and scholarship. Students are invited to join our school’s chapter of this prestigious national society of scholars. Members work to promote the four virtues of NHS through service projects and academic excellence.

Psychology Club promotes learning about various topics in psychology in great detail educating the community about common psychological disorders. This club raises money through events and fundraisers to donate to various organizations that help individuals face their inner issues.

Spanish Club is for enjoyment of the Spanish language and culture and improves language skills as well.

Spanish Honor Society gives students who are passionate about Spanish the opportunity to explore more deeply the culture, language and history as well as improve the community awareness of all things Spanish.

Student Government's mission aims to provide students with unique leadership skills as well as opportunity’s for community service and outreach. In addition to the many events and activities organized by our student leaders, the Student Government is also responsible for chartering over 40 unique clubs and after school activities. 

Thespian Society enables students to continue their study and practice of the finer points of theater and the varied facets of dramatic presentations in a nurturing environment.

Volantis Business Entrepreneurship Club is a business-entrepreneurship club that serves as a platform for students to showcase their skills and ideas in a positive way to the public. In addition for them to achieve, they have the opportunity to learn the skills and acute business thinking structures.
