1. What were your first impressions of BSG?
As I stepped into the Nanhu campus, I was in awe. The campus was such a unique place with fantastic facilities for the children. I had a good impression of my new work colleagues as they were so friendly and helpful. The thing that intrigued me the most was the unusual rollercoaster near the secondary building!
2. What is it like to be a teacher at BSG?
It is a pleasure to go into work every day alongside committed staff and to teach children who are motivated and eager to learn. There is a key focus on high-quality teaching and learning to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils.
3. How does our ‘be ambitious’ philosophy help our students and staff?
As staff, we have ambition at the forefront of our minds to ensure the highest achievements for our pupils, both personally and academically, and for our own continual professional development as well. We provide a challenging, open-ended and child-centred curriculum which encourages the children to be independent in their thinking and learning.
BSG pupils are nurtured with self-confidence to encourage them to ‘be ambitious’ in reaching their full potential. My daughter is a prime example, as this once shy and quiet girl gained a starring role in our school production!
