I graduated in 2014 from Liverpool John Moores University, where I achieved a BA in Primary Education with Early Years. I have spent the last two years teaching in Northern Ireland. In my first year I took on the role of a Learning Support teacher. This position enabled me to gain a greater understanding of the curriculum as a whole, and has provided me with the opportunity to work with children at each stage of primary education. In my second year, as well as KS1/KS2 class teacher, I was given the additional responsibility of coordinating special educational needs.
In my spare time I love to socialise with friends and enjoy being outdoors; hiking, cycling and exploring beaches. I have a strong passion for travelling as I gain great enjoyment through exploring new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. These experiences have helped develop a range of skills and techniques that I have implemented within my teaching practice. I hope to continue travelling within China and throughout Asia.
