I have over 10 years teaching experience across 3 continents and have led a variety of departments, my most recent post being Head of English.I graduated from Durham University in 2006, specialising in child psychology. After a short spell working in fashion, I returned to university in 2008 to complete my PGCE and began my career in London, where I worked for several years, before moving abroad.
This will be my third international post, after previously teaching in the Falkland Islands and Egypt. I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to teach at BSG and can’t wait to meet the students and wider community.
My personal interests include yoga, cycling, reading, music and theatre. I also enjoy eco-friendly crafts and make the majority of my family’s cosmetic products.
I have 3 young children who keep me very busy! As a family, we enjoy the arts, swimming, playing games and exploring new things. We are very excited to be living in China and look forward to lots of fun and learning in this fantastic country.
