Netball Knights ‘Fast Five’ tournament

09 November 2015

  • Netball Knights

Our Netball Knights ‘Fast Five’ tournament was held at CDNIS last Friday. This was the Knights’ first tournament. Our team was Years 3, 4 and 5 girls:

Devon Perrin
Cecily & Evelyn Bowen
Ilaria & Ayla Heasman
Aryn Deasy
Anelotte Espekog
Kira Thatcher
Nichola McLennan
Freya Mackness
Chloe Skovgaard
Annabel Sanderson

Led by our Coaches: Coach Amber, Sid and Kristen (Kristen wasn’t there on Friday as she had to head back to Sydney on personal business). They were also joined by Sunny Donat as chief supporter!

The coaches said, “It was not only our first tournament, it was our first set of games outside of training so to come in 4th and 7th was a massive achievement.  The girls have worked so hard this term and we are immensely proud of them all, they remembered to not only play well as a team but to enjoy the game and have fun with it and as their coach it was amazing to watch.  They did an excellent job representing the school in what was probably quite an overwhelming experience!!”

Well done to Nichola and Anelotte – the Most Valued Player (MVP).
