YEARS 6 & 7: SEEDS TRAININGClick here for photos

Our older students had an excellent workshop with the Seeds trainers, who focused on how young people can motivate themselves and others to success. You can see more about SEEDs here.

PARENT WORKSHOP – “How to avoid power struggles and use positive language”

We were delighted to be able to bring parenting specialist, Marie Marchand, into our school to share her expertise on avoiding power struggles and using positive language with our children. Please click here for an overview of Ms Marchand’s advice and tips.

As you’ll know, each of our Houses supports a local charity. Students in Caernarvon House would like to remind all the school to get involved in their Food Drive project. It’s an excellent project that encourages all our students to bring in non-perishable food products (dried food, rice, noodles, canned goods). We look forward to the other Houses launching similar initiatives.

And, finally, all our teachers are making a special point of reminding all our students to speak English while at school. We do appreciate that it’s easier to speak with friends in your own language, however, an important part of language development – and being inclusive with all the children in the school – is to speak English together. Thank you all for reminding your children.

The sun is finally out (just a little). Enjoy your weekend.
