The grand opening of the Nord Anglia International School International Day started with assembly featuring the different nations that make up our school community. From a spectacular catwalk, poems in other languages, the Virginia Reel, Nepalese modern dance, Bollywood style dance and Bengali dance, violin performance and a Tai Chi performance accompanied by two Chinese flutes "Hulusi".
It is really is one of the most colourful days in our school year, and a great way to celebrate the diversity of our international community. Did you know that we currently have students from 36 different countries!
Our pupils got mini 'passports' to gather stickers from each of the stands and they went around learning, tasting and finding out about all the countries represented.
Thanks to our very own Mrs. Khalik and the amazing team of parent volunteers who have made our International Day such a wonderful event. What a great day!
