Constantina C.

Constantina C.

Future Medical Researcher

She struggles under the weight of the books she carries to her mother’s car, as her arms grow tired she reminds herself that these aren’t any normal items. They’re the books she has gathered to be donated to refugees in her mother’s clinic, and they may be the key to another child’s education. With a renewed sense of strength she lifts the overflowing boxes into the car and smiles at her mother as she reflects on her one small act of good and its many ripples for people in the world. This is only the start of her philanthropic efforts and she can’t wait to dive in.

Constantina C. is a Village elementary student who loves science. She is a curious student who wants to use her passion for science to eventually study medicine. When asked about her future career, Constantina replied, “I want to be a researcher of new medicines because I want to help people and make the world good for everyone.”

Constantina also loves to read and wants to use that passion to help those who are less fortunate gain access to books. As a result, Constantina started a book fair in the school that donates books to refugees in her mom’s clinic. She loves seeing people happy and educated.

When we asked her what she likes most about Village, she said, “my teachers and my friends because it makes me happy seeing them every day.”
