Cristina is currently finishing her third book of music compositions for the music classroom to be published soon.
I taught music, voice specialization and instruments in Manila before moving to the Middle East in 2003 where I worked as a Music Specialist and Instrumental Music teacher in varied international schools. Apart from organising concerts, I also found joy in preparing and coaching my music students for the (ABRSM) Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music exams where most of them achieved distinction and merit marks. I believe that Music Education is a great way to engage diverse learners. My role is to prepare students to be productive members of the society, educating them about other cultures so that they learn to see the world through another’s eyes and can appreciate other ways of thinking and living.
I love reading, sketching and traveling - but I mostly spend time writing original songs and collaborating with musicians abroad. I started working at NAIS- Manila in 2018 when I came back to the Philippines.
